HealthStat Rx LLC, Specialty pharmacy, has partnered with Care Resource in Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Florida to provide 340B pharmacy services. Care Resource is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides comprehensive primary medical and preventive care, including health, oral and mental health/substance abuse services to persons of all ages, regardless of their ability to pay or health insurance status. Through education, prevention, research, care, treatment and support services, Care Resource’s mission is to improve the health and overall quality of life for diverse South Florida communities in need. Care Resource is a 501(c)(3) non-profit with demonstrated excellence in the multicultural field of HIV/AIDS and it works to fulfill its mission and have a positive impact on Miami-Dade and Broward communities.

HealthStat Rx LLC, Specialty pharmacy, has partnered with Medical AIDS Outreach, Inc. in Montgomery, AL to provide 340B pharmacy services. Montgomery AIDS Outreach, Inc. (MAO) is a private, non-profit community based AIDS Service Organization that was established in 1987. It has transitioned from a volunteer education and service organization to a full-time primary care facility. MAO is currently providing services to over 1000 patients who live in Montgomery and 26 surrounding counties in Southeast Alabama. MAO has two permanent locations and five rural clinic sites that offer both medical and social services.

HealthStat Rx LLC, Specialty pharmacy, conducted a six month study that set out to identify the benefits of a comprehensive pharmacy care program to increase adherence for patients taking highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) and assess the effect on the patient’s overall health outcome.

The AIDS Action Coalition is a non-profit organization whose mission is to the spread of HIV/AIDS in the 12 counties of North Alabama and care for people and families living with the disease.

The FDA has approved new once-daily HIV pill Complera. Complera is manufactured by Gilead and is the second complete HIV treatment in a single once- daily pill. Gilead’s Atripla was the first single tablet regimen approved for HIV back in 2006.

Chattanooga CARES is a non-profit organization whose focus is education, prevention and support for all people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. Chattanooga CARES strives to be the leader in providing resources and treatment for people affected by this disease. HealthStat Rx will provide prescription processing, medication adherence monitoring and on-going clinical support as part of this agreement.
